ARTIK USB Interfaces
Descriptions of USB interface usage are categorized as follows.
- Accessing USB storage devices (ARTIK 530, 710, and 1020)
- Acting as USB peripheral device (ARTIK 520, 530, 710, and 1020)
- Acting as USB host controller (ARTIK 530, 710, and 1020)
The USB interfaces typically available for end-user use are shown below. Debug USB interface locations (for terminal emulator connection) can be found here.
The ARTIK 020/030 module itself does not include USB. The base board provides (for updating firmware): - One USB 2.0 port - Device mode only - Mini type B receptacle |

ARTIK microSD Interface
The ARTIK 520, 530, 710, and 1020 development boards each provide a microSD card interface. The microSD card can be used for:
- General purpose storage
- Upgrade of the system firmware image.
The ARTIK 0 image can be updated only through a serial link.
